Fractured Earth — Remembering Darfur is an immersive night where sound becomes awareness — a collective act of listening to a world in fracture. Through drones, granular textures, and decaying harmonics, artists translate the silent crisis in Sudan into a shared sensory terrain: a landscape carved from resonance, rupture, and noise. The evening moves through shifting zones of stillness and erosion — low-frequency tremors evoking collapsing ground, filtered winds brushing over desolate plains, field ambiences dissolving into shadow. Expect ambient drone works, experimental beats, field recordings, macabre dance, and dreamlike visual fragments — a collision of frequencies and movement sculpted from empathy and unrest.
Across Sudan, over fourteen million lives have been displaced since conflict reignited in 2023. Fields lie barren, communities fall silent, and children face famine and disease. Fractured Earth — Remembering Darfur listens to these truths not as narrative, but as vibration — where every tone carries loss, and every sound becomes resistance.
This is not a gig but a listening environment — a ritual of presence where awareness, sound, and motion merge. Empathy here is not spoken; it hums through frequency, noise, and movement. All proceeds support Kids for Kids, a UK charity sustaining long-term aid in Darfur through community-led initiatives: clean water, goats for milk, healthcare, and education for children living through crisis.
